BUILDING LEADERS in SCIENCE: In the College of Science, our passions are broad and far-reaching. Our researchers have access to world-class facilities that help them solve critical problems, from energy conservation and ecosystem survival, to healthy aging and clean water supplies. Attracting students from around the world, we create experiences for them that go beyond the classroom.
Our researchers and students work in the classroom, in the lab and in the field. They work domestically and internationally. Our faculty are collaborative, advancing their research by working across disciplines at OSU. They also mentor our students, paving the way for them to become the problem solvers of tomorrow.
The College of Science is home to some of the best scientific facilities and labs in the Northwest and beyond, supporting our researchers' work and their ability to make fundamental discoveries. We encourage our students —both graduate and undergraduate— to use these facilities as well as researchers across campus and throughout Oregon.
Ultimately, our mission as a college is to serve the people in Oregon, the nation, and the world, and empower future generations to do the same.
